MY EMOTIONAL GOODBYE TO MY NIECE...

Last night I helped my 13-year old niece pack up for summer camp.

Two huge duffel bags sat on the living room floor and I was strategically placing the items in the bags so she knew where every single thing was located (PS – I happen to be a master packer so this is my favorite thing to do!)

I started getting a little emotional about her going to camp. I wanted to give her a list of things to do and think about but I held back because in her eyes, I’m an ancient fossil.

I wanted to tell her this:

  1. Make sure you do every single thing you want to!

  2. Make an intention for the summer – maybe more FUN! or do the longest canoe trip?

  3. Surround yourself with GOOD friends. Don’t buy into the mean girls. They’re miserable on the inside.

  4. If you feel like someone is taking advantage of you (or someone else) physically, emotionally, or sexually, RUN to the director. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200. RUN.

  5. Figure out your first 6-figure launch (JUST KIDDING! LOL! Besides, she wants to be a doctor).

  6. Fall in love. You can choose yourself or someone else!

  7. BREAK ALL THE RULES!

Everything I wanted to tell her, I really wanted to tell myself. I want to do all the things I love! I want to set intention. I want to go on the long canoe trip. I want more awesome, funny, and supportive friends. I want to be the whistle blower when I see injustice. I want to deepen the love I have. And y’all know I love breakin’ the fucking rules!

I WANT THIS FOR YOU TOO. That’s why I’m running an adult summer camp this summer. This Wednesday, I’ll be having a FREE WORKSHOP and I want you to be my guest.

WHY DO THE KIDS GET TO HAVE ALL THE FUN? I want to bring together some incredible people to get what we want in business, life, and love.

I’m calling in that summer magic and making NYC the best camp we’ve ever had! Join me for my free workshop this Wednesday by clicking HERE.

What are you waiting for?

Let’s break all the rules!

See you on Wednesday.

Love,
Dr. Liz
